I noticed majority of the links are from the giant corporatre like Apple, CNN and etc. Wondered if a smally company like me able to submit the link or article?

In general, the best way to submit to major search engines is not 'send' your URL to them. Get some links to other sites that are on their boards, and / or display a map by sitemaps.org.
