Just curious to know ...How many of us really search for Directories ? when searching a anything on web.

I believe we relay on much more on Search Engines like Google, Yahoo etc.

Yes we all are so much dependent on search engines. We forget about those sites that are famous by their feature of different directory list.
Well I still used to find those sites where I used to submit my website. Directory submission In SEO terms.

it is now only used for SEO purposes.
No need of it seems to persist.

Directories are really dying out; search engines just offer a supremely better overall service to the casual user.
