HI,

As of me paid hosting better then free hosting. If you do not want to spend more money then you can take cheap hosting too. Free hosting comes in free but they are not provide you 24/7 support which is most important.

The most important is to check the hosting specifications before sign up. If free hosting package meet your requirement, you can consider to start up with the package then only upgrade to the paid one.

With this methods, it helps you save more

Free webhosting is a double edged sword, you never know when it can pierce you backwards (especially when most un-needed). It is a good idea to start off in the hosting industry, for example if someone is wanting to learn the hosting nuances and functioning, they can use a free account to catch up with things. Once you are ready for a commercial or official launch, it is always a safer idea to purchase a hosting plan from a professional service provider.

For those who have charities or non profit organizations - You may save on some cost by going in for free webhosting. But then what about the times when your website is down for extended period? The very purpose of having a website i.e to be seen on the internet is not served. You would lose out on potential donations, which definitely wont be a good idea! Also consider the plethora of advertisement banners which come with the free hosting accounts; you would lose your identity and value, which again is not very good for your charity.

Going in for a paid hosting service is anyday a better option, it pays multiple dividends in the longer run.
